GIVEAWAY!

How about this for bribery...I need to come home from my mini vacation and find that you have still visited me.lol. So, I'm going to pick a winner July 5. I was going to pick the 4th...but who's going to be on the computer??? so the morning of the 5th. This watercolor I painted on 300lb hot press. I love the smoothness of the hot press. There is a little hanger on the back
So this is what I started with... a little frame..it has the glass in it. I wanted to really age the frame, so I started out with "adobe" then Tim Holz blue crackle paint, then glazed it with burnt umber, then crackle med. then champagne gold and a little highlighting. I love how it turned out
*******************************************************************
I will leave you with this question...What is your favorite color for July (mine changes month to month) Hydrangea blue is mine....

Hope you have a great time on your vacation. did you kitty proof your home before you left? We all know how mischievous your fur babies are!lol

Came over from Utah Grammie's blog. Now I have someone else to read regularly!

My favorite July color is the blue reflected in the swimming pool. Living in one of the hottest cities in the nation means looking at the pool water a lot!

Will be back for more of your thoughts!

Hi Laurie -
My favorite color for July is definitely blue. Red, white and blue, flower hydrangeas, blue sky, blue lakes. Your banner is so cute and I love that little painting. It's so sweet!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog and for leaving your sweet comments. The lake we where we recently camped and fished is Clear Lake on Mt. Hood, just a ways past Government Camp as you go toward Madras and Bend. If you ever go that way the lake is just a few miles off the highway and definitely worth the time to check it out. There is a National Forest campground there with nice campsites. We camped on the far end of the lake in an area where campers have made nice sites along the shore.

I love color of all kinds. The blue of the sky, the green of the grass and trees, the brown of bark, the red of a beautiful daylily. But I narrow it down to shades of colors which I tend toward the muted, quiet side of things. I love your work so please enter me in the contest for this beautiful little frame and painting.
