These roses are from my sweet DH! I've had a very very sad day. After visiting my mom I just cried and cried. She isn't doing well and I fear she wont be around for very much longer. So these flowers came from the heart to show me how much he cares.
For lack of having time to make something pink I thought I would show you this sweet little vintage girls dress that I have hanging in my sewing room.
On to happy things...the picture above and below are photos from a class I took with Lisa Kaus last year...tomorrow I get to take another class from her...in her studio! I'm so excited and it will be so nice to immerse myself into creativity.
I'll have show 'n tell when I get home! Be sure and sign up for my give-away on the previous post.

Laurie, Here is a BIG ((HUG)) for you, friend. I am so sorry to hear that your Mom isn't doing well. It's so hard to see someone you love in poor health. I am wishing you and her the best. That is very thoughtful of your husband to bring you those flowers.
God bless, Laurie!
Your friend,
~TattingChic

HUGS, Lisa
Dear Laurie-
If I were in your town visiting my kids I would drive to your house, knock on your door and give you a BIG hug. For now it will be a blog-hug. My heart hurts for you. It's so hard to see our parents struggle with their health and when we know we won't have them with us much longer.
Enjoy your class with Lisa tomorrow. It will be a good thing for you. I think my dear friend Betty (SammyGirl) will be there, too. And a couple other blog friends. Oh what I'm going to miss! Can't wait to see what you create.
Hugs,
~Adrienne~

Oh Laurie, many prayers and hugs being sent your way. It is so tough watching someone we love disappear before our eyes. What a wonderful thing for your husband to do. I believe he's a keeper. Happy Pink Saturday. hugs ~lynne~
