Love

Wanted to show you what my daughter Stacey has been up to. A girlfriend from highschool is getting
married. She wanted something that was handpainted by Stacey.
Brandi's colors are "Tuscany". Thats about all Stacey had to go on...So she found this wonderful Letter
at JoAnn's Brandi's last name started with an M and her new name starts with an M. She typed up their wedding date and made a charm...we had taken a class from Sally Jean, so it was nice she had the experience.
This is the backside...gold, red, and black...
Then she couldn't leave well enough alone...she had to redo her computer top..a beautiful purple, she added a bit of glitter and then stenciled it....Quite lovely!! Good Job Stacey~

A Day in Malibu

Our day was lovely...drove up to Malibu. We couldn't find the restaurant that we wanted to go to...so we stopped some locals and asked them where we should have lunch. They suggested this place....
Cute place, packed with people, small. I was taking a couple pictures of the wall decor, when this lady approached and said " I know you guys are tourists, but can you wait until you are outside to take pictures" What?? Hard to take a picture of the decor when I'm outside. Then we found out what she meant....
Here is the beginning of the story...As we approached the front of this place...my husband laughed and said "hey, that guy is a dead ringer for Arnold Schwarzenegger" I'm like...ya, kinda..but he's to short and little. I heard a guy speak to him. When he spoke, I'm like...silly man, he is even trying to talk like him.
We went in to eat...and we saw this same man saying Hi to everyone as he walked by...I'm thinking...boy, he must come in here a lot...then I looked over to where he sat down...his wife turned around and it was none other then Maria Shriver...yep, 2 tables down. They were having lunch like normal people, with their kids
I blurred their kids faces to protect the Innocent. Now, remember...I have a GREAT zoom,
so we weren't "in their face" I was more excited to see Maria...after all...she is a Kennedy

So, that was our excitement for the day!! I'll be sharing photos of downtown LA tomorrow.

This isn't the best picture of a little green fence...but it works for "green"!

This is where we went over the weekend. It was just beautiful. Please check out other delightful greens at Jenny Matlocks classroom

And then there is the sweetest kitty Poodie Pood, he knows where a cozy pillow is~

I didn't know it would be so hard to "find" the photos for her

to critique...learning so much!!

Then one of my blogging buddies husband had a massive stroke

that has left him in bad shape, then he got double phenomena

Take an LA trip with me??

Another Perfect day in Paradise!!! The weather was warm with a cool breeze. We started out
by having a Delicious lunch here by "The Grove" which is next to the Farmers Market, which is next to CBS.
Then we went to the "Grand Central Market" tons of people, cheap food!! People would sit on these adorable seats

There was a painting on one of the walls, how wonderful is this!!

For one of my photography classes, I am to take an interesting picture of the sky. She lives in New Mexico where the skys are beautiful. Ours are blue...just blue...so, to prove that it is the sky and not just a piece of paper. I took this wonderful light fixture
I hope you enjoyed a little piece of my day..

happy pink saturday to all

I took this chair picture for one of my photography classes.
I got this one right...but I like how the flowers go from real, to painted, even thought
they arent the same kind of flower
I also took this one for class. The flowers fight with the birdcage.
But its a perfect photo for PINK SATURDAY
