Flip Flops in Winter

Where else can you go at 8:00 in the morning
Sit outside in the warm sunshine,
wearing flip flops
and find out that it is 35 degrees
So. California, Yep, that was me this morning,
decided to have a little "me" time,
stopped in to Panera for a cuppa joe
sat outside in the warm sunshine with a sweater and flip flops,
I refuse to give up my flip flops!
~~~~~~~~~~
My husband found a cancerous sore on his shoulder. He had it removed
today, it was about the size of a nickel. His scar is going to be about 8" long.
Then there was this vintage cup, the color of my shelves in my bedroom
so adorable
And then there is this old speckled cup
I picked up this doily...Its one of those old plastic ones.
They are hard to find, great for crafting, spritzing painting, or stenceling
Job update
I decided to go along with Stacey today just to keep her company on the drive. We left the house at 8 am, and we just got home...8 PM. First interview was in Rolling Hills, above Long Beach, over an hour away. She thought the interview went well. We went to a couple of antique shops, I'll show you what I got tomorrow. We found a Fish eatery on line....bad neighborhood, we went to plan B. Found a place that was jammed packed with people. Never seen anything like it, fish taco, soooo good. Then we stopped back by home for 15 min. and took off in the other direction, an hour, for the second interview...went VERY well. She got to see the apt, the office shes really excited. They said they would be making a decision a week from Monday.
Kimberly Crest House, Redlands, CA
Stacey and I went to visit this beautiful old home. The home of Kimberly Crest. I altered it a bit with some photoshop texture
Isn't it just beautiful
I took my old camera and did some TTV photos, Ilove how
they turned out...TTV, Through The Viewfinder, not altered at all
shows the sun filtering through
I wanted to show you what it looks like looking through the old camera, then taking the photo, I have to hold the old camera in my left hand, way down low, then use the large digital photo to try to look through and focus...I got to giggling I was having so much fun
It was such a fantastic sunny day. I love how this caught the brightness, and it warps it
Hope you enjoyed my photos, I'm so glad I took the old camera, I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and show you which one I used
Oh, this all has to do with toilet paper...Here's the link
