Laurie's Charming Designs

Thought I would try something different

I enjoyed making this piece, it's in my Etsy store

Using a stencil I added the background design with encaustic gesso, then it is coated with encaustic wax, for sale on my etsy site

A little 5x5 watercolor painting on plaster coated with encaustic wax

I'm loving this style of art! 5x7 vintage lace was added to the bottom, after I paint with water colors I added warm encaustic wax

I got a new tool today, a router so I could cut a hanger on the back of my boards

I've been having fun with encaustic wax, these are two paintings I did. The rooster is acrylics and the bird is watercolors
