I played around with sketching
See the butterfly
I tried a bee
This one still needs some work
oops, bird is a bit big for the nest.lol
Little watercolor
Latest birdie
I took the one off Etsy and reworked it. Spritzing pink glimmer mist on the flowers. I left a bit of fringe of the netting around the pincushion. I added Silver German Glass Glitter to the pins. The berries have been glittered. I will be adding this to my Ebay today.
We went to Belknap Springs in the Cascade Mts. Oregon is so beautiful this time of year.
We had so much snow this past winter, and it is just now warming up, the water is really high.

I was able to talk to my friend Martha Kohley of Vintage Trifles, her booth was so full of beautiful works of art. Another area full of wonderful items was my niece Lindsey of Ferriers Daughter.
Then I was grabbed by some woman.lol Carol does the most beautiful quilts. It was so nice to see you again...I found out shes be watching my birdies...then while I was in her booth a few more old friends came by...it was soooo nice to see everyone...we all need to stay in touch more! It was nice to see you all again. Love your charms Shelia of Halo Hill.

Hi and welcome home! Gee, I must have been busy because for some reason I missed your giveaway! Darn it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Tania for winning.
I love the way you do your packages. The two I got from you were so cute! I hated to open them. The only reason I was able to was because I knew the cute items that were waiting inside.
I love your birds and nests you do.
Hugs,
Joanne
Oh my gosh- your sketches are just wonderful! And I love the pincushion birdie- I have a silverplate sugar bowl that is begging for a birdie- hope you don't mind if I copy your idea.
ReplyDeleteHi Laurie,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I didn't get to meet you at the sale. We were there early helping Joy set up and of course, doing a little shopping. I'm glad you had a good time.
Hugs,
