Spoon Bookmark!!

Oh what is this...you ask...another painted spoon...oh no, it's not just another spoon...
This one got a little spa treatment...a spoon spa treatment..a little pounding on the back, a little pampering on the front...a little massage to help circulate its color...
A little bow to make it feel special... It now feels like a new spoon...A BOOKMARK spoon!!
Yes... flattened like a pancake, ready to slip into your book pages. It's just the cutest spoon, measuring 5". I was going to wait until Pink Saturday to unveil this sweet thing...but I get so excited and cant wait...the silly thing is...I woke up in the middle of the night and thought."ah ha...I know what else I can to do these spoons!!"...who would have thought they could be used for so much more then...soup or tea!!! Oh...this will be added to my EBAY...yep...99 CENTS again!!

  6. Oh gosh! I just thought of something, the buyer could either drill a hole in the top and add some fun beads or wire some on!!!! Yes, my mind is forever embellishing!!!

  7. What a cute idea! You'd better get a patent or copywrite on that one. It's a keeper.

I was in your hometown on Wednesday afternoon. I stayed with my grandsons while my daughter-in-law got some away time. Her hubby - our son - is out of the country until tomorrow night and she was more than thrilled for a chance to have some alone time and get out of the house without toting three little boys. We had a great time but I needed a reward. Guess where I went to reward myself. The Girls Back Porch! I didn't have much time before she closed but I did find a special little ornament for a friend and a gorgeous, just perfect for my table runner. I'll share it on my blog soon when I get more of the tablescape finished.

  10. If you fold over the top, put a cord through the handle, it would make a LOVELY pendant too!

I used to keep a notepad by my bed when I got ideas but now I'm just as happy to fall back asleep! LOL!

How about hanging a little crystal or a pearl from a hole drilled in the bottom if you make pendants!

But it's a wonderful idea as it is!!
