WOOL Easter Colors and Update on Babies

This is a portion of what I got. It is soooo soft and the colors. Yummm!
On the way home I was thinking about where I was going to store these wools.
I'm working on using what I already have, I have had this little metal washer for years and years. I've tried to sell it a couple of times...so I gave it new life as a wool holder. See the little lavender nest I made down in the right hand corner.

Lois hard at work. I forgot to mention she a teacher for special needs children. Dean was holding mammas head at this point. I had a hard time getting a picture, mamma did NOT stand still for this. I wrote to Lois this morning, so when I hear back from her I'll give you an update.
****************UPDATE******************
I just got an email from Lois, she said after working with momma and babies for HOURS and HOURS momma decided she loved her children after all!!! Yea!!!!
Way to go Lois!!
She also sent us a link to her webcam so we could watch what is going on in the barn...
what fun we are having!!!!

  1. Oh the colors are so yummy.. the little lamb is just adorable. My girlfriend and husband used to raise sheep. It was always a treat to go out when they were shirring them. Thanks for bringing the memories back..hugs ~lynne~

  3. I love how you stored the wools that is so cute and what pretty colors. Growing up we had sheep and I can remember having to go out and bottle feed them when the mommy would not take care of them. They are such sweet little things I love the pictures reminds me of those days . I had to leave on friday for a bit and forgot about the auction for your birdie ending until I got home and it was to late I was so mad at myself .Then I seen on your blog you had made another one . so I checked your ebay she wasn't there then I went to etsy and there was another cute birdie on the spoon I was so excited to find it . I will treasure it :)

    Have a good day

  4. Beautiful wool! Great way to store it..I can't believe you couldn't sell that cute little container.

Do you think Lois would let us watch on her webcam? You could email me if that would be okay with her. Otherwise, we'll just take the updates as you can get them...thanks for sharing!

  11. Hey Laurie,

That wool is gorgeous...and so soft looking. I'd have to buy a bunch and don't even felt!

I'm glad momma decided she'd keep her babies. And I'm glad they were born to some folks that would have helped them if she hadn't accepted them.

    Great pictures, btw :)
