These look a little washed out but the are a pretty pink...ready for a pincushion and embroideryThe sketch below I gave it a wash of color. It isn't watercolor paper so it was hard to get the color to float.

ReplyDeleteI love your paintings! I love it when I see a Blue Jay! I'm from Denver and it was too cold up there to ever see colorful birds! Everytime I see one, I stop in my tracks and do a double take! I -want- to see an honest to goodness bluebird! I would be sooo shocked!

ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose just one bird. I think my first choice would have to be Western Bluebird. We have nesting boxes up for them and love to watch them. Next would have to be a Scarlet Tanager, their color is so vivid, bright red, it is a beautiful bird. Next Ruby Throated Hummingbird, oh then I also like the big Pileated Woodpecker (I just had one in my front yard and I have its picture on my blog). Do I have to quit there??? I enjoy watching birds!!
