Again, I'm showing both sided of the charms...I tried to match up the colors from one side to the other.
Can you tell what this is??? I didn't have anything to hang them on...so I went to the GW and tried to think outside the box. They had this ONE stand, it did take me just a minute to figure out it was. It holds fireplace tools. It is a really pretty silver. I wrapped some lace around it, hoping that would soften the look.
I went to Tarte first thing in the morning. I fell in love with the little tiny sawhorse table. Do you see it on top of the other table...so cute, not for sale (thank goodness!)
Here are my treasures. I couldn't pass these up...$5 each.

Oh I wish I hadn't looked at your charms! Now I want them all!! And I may not be going to Deepwood Tea Saturday because our son can't go hunting in Eastern Oregon with my sweetheart and now he wants me to go along for the trip. So, I'd just better decide what charms I want and order them!! If details don't work out right for me to leave town I'll be at the tea. I love your new little 'charm holder' - knew what it was the minute I saw it because I just brought our fireplace tool set in from the garage yesterday. It goes away in the spring since we don't do fires in the fireplace in Spring or Summer. Your work is wonderful and I'd love to have one of each!

part of me wants to learn to solder, but part of me does NOT need to take on yet another craft! So, I will be content to admire the ones you have made and LOVE the one I won!! Thank you many times over!!
Oh how lovely! I'll take one of each! hehe
Hugs, Lisa
I love to see what you are soldering. I have started teaching myself too and have had a very steep learning curve. First I bought an iron that was not hot enough, then I bought one that was too hot and was actually burning the paper. I ended up getting a rheostat to control that. It works much better but I still need a lot of practice. Do you have to sand the solder when you are done? are you using patina? It is the only thing I can think of to make my charms look as nice as I would like them to...
Nice charms. Love the background underneath them! ;)
Your birdhouse is darling! Enjoy your new treasures! :)
