First I wanted to show you this windmill that my dad built years ago. It was a landmark. I am making a point to be more aware of what is around me. You know how you see something so often that you forget its even there. Thats how this was.
I was given a box of unpainted porcelain ornaments....so I finished a few more last night
I finished them off with a nice coat of varnish and while it is wet I sprinkle glitter all over them.
This is the last of them. I deliver all my goodies to Deepwood tomorrow. My last show of the year. Then it's time to fill my Etsy and Ebay back up.
Well there you go again - making just the pretties of things:-) Your work always makes me smile..and today is no exception..
ReplyDeleteYour ornaments are so pretty! I've always wanted to learn how to paint sweet little roses! Maybe someday.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your show!
Oh, how I wish I had not sold my kiln. I miss china painting so much. I adore each thing you create but it makes me homesick to get a paint brush in my hand again. I love the windmill. Such a staple in the world gone by.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beauties.
