Peightynn
***************
So today had its ups and downs...I called the dentist first thing...she said "can't get you in until a week from Wed." I asked if I came in and just sat there, would they try to work me in. She said yes...so at 2:30 (thats when she suggested I come in) I went in...by this time I had an earache a headache, my tooth hurt and I was feeling really crummmmie. They took a quick little ex-ray...he came in, studied it...said, we'll make an appointment for you to come in and have a crown put on. WHAT??!! What about the huge crater...what about.... he said, everything is fine he filed down a jagged edge...What??!! I can't be fine...I've been dreading going in, and you are just going to send me on my way??? What??!! So, I went out, made my appointment for Feb. as I'm walking out the door...I noticed my ear didn't hurt. I got the car...I noticed my tooth didn't hurt...I got home and I didn't have a headache...I had worked myself into such a state that I hurt all over...I'm fine now...lol. jeez!! There wasn't even a hole where the filling fell out. Amazing what our minds can do to our bodies.
Then, just a bit ago we got the news that baby Peightynn is on her way back to Doernbechers Hospital. She has a really hight temp. and really bad diaper rash...
I do hope your day was a lot calmer then mind!!!
You poor thing...I hate the dentist but go because I don't want more pain. I hope you are now feeling better. My prayers for baby Peightynn.
ReplyDeleteOh, that sucks! I hate the dentist too... I get all sweaty and clammy, start shaking, etc.! I'm glad you're feeling better now though!
ReplyDeleteOh...not a very good beginning to the New Year...urggg!
ReplyDeleteStay Cozy, Carrie
I just want you to know that I have been thinking about you and all that you are going through. Roller Coasters are fun to me if they are in the amusement parks, but certainly not in real life. Thought it might help to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers today.
ReplyDeleteOh, Laurie - I am so sorry you are going through a tough spot. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you can enjoy your PhotoShop class and have a bit of time to 'play' while you wait for your tooth to be fixed. And I'm praying for this precious little girl! ~Adrienne~
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sympathetic words on my blog the other day. We have appreciated all the kind thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI read through some of your older posts about baby Peightynn. It is so sad that there does not seem to be anything they can do for her. I will keep her and the family in my prayers.
I am glad you are feeling better. A toothache can be so miserable.
Hope the baby will be doing better very soon, life can be a challenge. Hugs, Diane
