EGGS
My first question is...does it hurt the chicken to lay an egg like the one on the left?? Was she
constipated?? The egg on the right is a normal size egg. Look at the wrinkles on the left one

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid growing up we used to get our eggs from the egg lady who had chickens behind her house and delivered the eggs to our home. That's an interesting question about the egg on the left. Strange.

ReplyDeleteOur chickens have laid some strange looking eggs at times and I've often wondered what went wrong. Then I feel so sorry for them. It has to be like having a kid. Right? Poor chickies...but I hope they don't stop laying...selfish me! I love my fresh eggs!

Gosh I've never seen a wrinkled egg before! My in-laws had a chicken that laid a TRIPLE yolk egg. It was so huge I think it was a miracle she didn't die in the process... but it wasn't wrinkly like that!
