Alphabe-Thursday E-eggs

Just in time for Jenny Matlocks Alphabe-Thursday...a double yolker. Yippee!
EGGS
My first question is...does it hurt the chicken to lay an egg like the one on the left?? Was she
constipated?? The egg on the right is a normal size egg. Look at the wrinkles on the left one
Beautiful Brown eggs that we get from a farm not to far away
I love painting eggs
Right now...I love playing with my eggs in photoshop

  1. Wow, that's a "trip" . . . and with wrinkles.

LOVE that last painting of the eggs and the camera you did Laurie!

  2. This is too funny! I don't think I've ever seen a wrinkled egg! Love your photo work, especially after seeing you today and hearing how much you enjoy it. Keep it up - you delight our hearts to see what you've done!

  3. I have a habit of picking up eggshells and discarded nests in the spring and summer, and putting them on my bookshelves.

  4. I've never seen a wrinkled egg. Something must have been up with whoever laid it LOL.

  5. I so need to learn how to "photo shop". The program just seems so counter intuitive to me! I am adoring your photo shopped photo of the bowl of eggs next to the vintage camera. Lovely. Absolutely lovely.

  8. When I was a kid growing up we used to get our eggs from the egg lady who had chickens behind her house and delivered the eggs to our home. That's an interesting question about the egg on the left. Strange.

  9. Our chickens have laid some strange looking eggs at times and I've often wondered what went wrong. Then I feel so sorry for them. It has to be like having a kid. Right? Poor chickies...but I hope they don't stop laying...selfish me! I love my fresh eggs!

  10. Laurie, I've seen your painted eggs in "person" and they are amazing. You are very talented.

Not sure what's up with that wrinkled egg.

Isn't that an E xcellent E xample to use for the letter "E"?

    I think it was!

    A+ for you!

  16. Gosh I've never seen a wrinkled egg before! My in-laws had a chicken that laid a TRIPLE yolk egg. It was so huge I think it was a miracle she didn't die in the process... but it wasn't wrinkly like that!
