A girlfriend came to visit me...its been well over 16 years since we use to go traipsing around LA looking for shops to visit...We had one day...oh what fun we had...today I'll show you the French General. Packed with happy customers. It was a delight, I will be going back! Here is their logo on the side of the building
There were tables filled with glasses and bottles and dishes FULL to the brim with trinkets for making jewelery...WOW
Such variety!!
And these little samplers we so beautiful in person, I've seen them in their books
I did ask permission to take these photos...I told her they would be on my blog
and that I would give them credit...really??? And why wouldn't I? They were sooooo sweet and helpful. There were ladies sitting at another table making jewelery...I wanted to jump in there and do the same!

The peacock is such a beautiful indigo. I had a picture of the little indigo bunting, another beautiful indigo bird that I got on flickr. I had not one indigo photo in my hundreds...bizarre!
