Bad News

Update
*****************
Poor baby Peightynn, Stacey and I made the trip to Doernbechers Children Hospital
Momma has a DNA gene, the dad (who isn't in the picture) has this same DNA
the combination is lethal. She is one in 50,000 who has this.
There is only one Dr in the US that has studied this problem.
It will be a couple of weeks of waiting before we find out
exactly what catagory she is in. She has a chance of living
a year or maybe 3. She is almost 6 mo.
Amber, Peightynns mommie is only 27. She has the
support of her 2 sisters and a few friends. It's really rough right now.
Thank you for your wonderful comments.

  4. Oh, Laurie -- Sweetie, know that you and the others are in our hearts. So hard trying to understand ... and sometimes we never do know why little ones suffer so. We have to trust that God is in control and He will give us peace.
    Sending a heartfelt hug ...

  5. Little Miss,

I will continue to keep Mum and daughter in my thoughts. And you dear friend along with your incredibly compassionate, caring daughter will also remain in my thoughts. You and Stacy might not think you are doing all you can but I assure you, you are. Right now the most helpful thing for Mum and baby is to know you are there, so she can draw strength from you!!!

  10. Praying for this sweet baby and mommy. I've seen babies who were only supposed to live a short time live long lives. Holding them up in prayer for a miracle! ~Adrienne~
