Alphabe-Thursday "H" Hot air balloon

Welcome to Oregon.
It rains so much and is cloudy most of the time
We don't see sights like this very often.
We were coming out of our driveway and there it was.
There is something so
peaceful, watching "H"ot air balloons.
Hope I get an A from Mrs. Matlock for my "H" If you want to see what others are doing with their "H" go check out Jenny Matlocks blog.

  1. I want so much to go up in a hot air balloon and go to one of those festivals and take lots of photos! Thanks for sharing this great photo. I lived in Eugene for 2 years long ago and really loved the west!

  7. I would love to go in a hot air balloon but I'm not sure how my poor old back would cope with the landing!
My H is a bit silly but I do hope you will have time to Visit Me

  11. That must have been so neat. I've never seen a hot air balloon in person just in the movies or on TV.

  16. What a cool thing to see. We have a hot air ballon festival in the Spring. It is great to chase them down and see where they land.

  17. Laurie, I"m trying to play with photos today and you had told me this to only tint a part of my pic ~
With my photos, make a layer, turn it to black and white then erase over what you want to be in color.~

While I understand that concept, and do know how to both erase and to make a photo black and white, I can't seem to do both things to my pic. I'm using Windows 7 PAINT program. Help!

    Love,
    Steph

  18. They used to have a hot air balloon festival here. I don't think they have it any more, but when I would walk early in the morning I'd see the balloons. They're amazing to watch, but I wouldn't want to go for a ride.

  22. I think we probably have really similarly rainy dreary weather here in The Netherlands *L* I do love looking out the window on sunny days and seeing the hot air balloons though. They go up quite often in the summer time so it's really cool =)
