Red White & Blue !!

Here is my latest primitive shoe. As you may have noticed, I like to try new things, so after I painted it red, I sanded it down...I loved the look, so I just left it, then lightly antiqued it. The ribbons were aged a bit. I added my colored glittered pins...red white and blue. This is going on to ETSY
I picked this up yesterday at our local goodwill..$5. Its ready for a re-do.
The other birdie I made for a maniquins shoulder. It is sitting on a nest of vintage netting surrounded by wonderful flowers, this velvet bow was part of the "nest" The picture below is the back side.

Baby Shoes

You've probably noticed, I kinda like Robins Egg Blue! lol. So I painted this vintage baby shoe with a color that I mixed. See the little birdie nest...then a sprinkling of mini roses. I dyed the ribbon around her neck to match the shoe.
a few glittered pins, a couple of vintage buttons
Cross hatching on the top. I then put on my favorite crackle med. and rubbing light metallic to make the fine cracks and aged it just a bit...I just love the way this turned out.
I forgot to mention, the chalkboard with the nest painted on it, is also for sale on my ebay.
I had these sweet baby shoes. I painted roses on the toes and sprinkled rose petals around I am adding these to my EBAY. I have reg. shoe laces...but should I lace them up with pink ribbon??

Blue Bird~Blackboard~Baby Shoe

Isnt this a beautiful design on this spoon
I've been busy, here is another little plate that I painted with chalkboard paint,
then added a nest with 3 little robin eggs and vine with sweet little berries and leaves,
I added a touch of metallic paint to the branches.
This little blue bird on the spoon is one that was featured in the Somerset Life mag.
Here is the other little shoe (the other shoe is on the copper plate) I wanted to paint and then age this sweet shoe. I used Glimmer Mist then metallic paints, a touch of pearl. Can you see the little soft polka a dots?? I painted a little rose on the toe of the shoe, I dyed the silk ribbons, I wanted the one around her neck to pull out the color in the rose.
I have just listed all these goodies on my EBAY

Getting back to normal blogging

Oh my goodness. I couldn't put anything on ebay, I would click on my photos and POOF! It would all disappear, so I just got back from my computer guy down the street...so, he fixed the problem, BUT...he fixed me up with wireless high speed...wow,wow,wow. ***************

Whew! I am so glad that is over...I am LOVIN this high speed!! Now I can sit back and enjoy a cup of hot Milo. Jenn and Jacqui sent these goodies to me from Australia. It gives ME high -speed energy to keep up with my computer...heehee! It has an interesting but Delicious chocolate flavor. Not sweet...ummmm I better have another sip....aaaaaah! I know I showed you these shoes, I plan to put them on ebay today. I just had to play around with my buttons!
Cupcake....low calorie, I'll be getting some of my cupcakes on ebay also. This one is sooo cute, I'll have the measurements when I go to sell it, but its small and can be hung on the wall or sit on a shelf. The frame was NOT pretty, so I gave it a little shabby chic paint finish.
