our delightful teacher. She like my words each week. This is our last week. We have come to the letter Z. I thought about this letter...I wanted to show pictures of the Zoo and the wonderful Zebra...but, this week ZIPPED by so quickly, I didn't have a chance to find my photos.
Next week we are going to re-post a post. Please check out more interesting Z's at Jennymatlock.blogspot.com, I'm just to Zapped tonight to do any better. I'm off to get some Zzzzz's

Have you ever had to take off your sweater, jacket, jeans
that had the zipper quit working,
thats bad enough, how about when the zippers
stop working foryour husband, while he is still in them,
yes, the jeans too...and WHY do they call it a fly????

Jovind Armstrong in LA

So, Stacey and I are still acting like tourists. We love going to the Grove, and the old Farmers Market. As we were driving down Melrose...we stopped at a light...Stacey's yelling" I know that guy" so I roll down the window (the air conditioner was on, its hot!!!) and Stacey grabs her camera...gets off a couple of shots

Can you see his eyes???he is looking at us taking pictures...we wave, he waves

it was so cute...he was like "hey, they know who I am"

What fun...anyway, he's from the Food Network and that is his restaurant

Silly Kitty

First I thought I would share with you a journal that I painted the cover for, for Susan, my new buddy, I gave this to her when we first me a couple of weeks ago.
This was one of the goodies I got at a garage sale for $1

And this little cabinet with the worn paint...do I paint it or leave it is the question.

I'm still busy unpacking, I was throwing the tissue on the bed.

LINES

1) This week our photography class is all about lines. The one above has the horizon line then the wave. But the boat keeps your interest (?)
2) I didn't want ordinary lines...how are these poles, for texture and movement

3) This staircase is my favorite. There are lines everywhere, keeps you looking around.

4) And there this is this building and fence and trees

5) I love this one too. I like how it has lines of the wall/floor behind the gate

6) And lots and lots of poles holding up this pier

7) This has lots of color and lines going all direction.
Now I'm going to ask for your help. Which ones keeps your interest, keeps you
in the photo
I can pick 4 to give to the teacher

8) This has great lines to.
Can you tell I liked going out and finding "lines". They are everywhere
***
I cant remember how to change the color of my font...can anyone help??

Pink Saturday

This was a Delicious desert that Susan and I shared when we met in Escondido. Pure pink goodness

One morning I was walking by our flowers...did it rain?? did I miss seeing it rain.
Wait, where am I ?? Not in Oregon...Oh yes, I'm in California...lots of sunshine...and
SPRINKLERS

While up in the mountains I found this delightful pink thistle

Oh, and remember the "paper" flowers, I turned them pink. Now I really wish
I had brought some home

I had to share this with you. I took this for the photography class that I'm taking
I don't know if it what the teacher wanted, but I love it. And yes, the
wood was pink...how fun is that!!!
