Testing Absorbant Ground

I coated one tag with Daniel Smith Watercolor Ground, the one on the right, the one in the middle was Golden. The one on the left...turned out the best, no ground.lol

I liked Daniel Smith the best of the two. You cant go over it with a Micron, it ruins it. I used a permaball pen, it was to thick, but this was just a test...

I was told Absorbent Ground helps if your journals have very thin pages - nope, doesn't work. I wasn't impressed with it at all.

Totally agree your tag on the left looks the best!

I have always wondered what Absorbent Ground would do & exactly what it is for. Interesting experiment!! I'm with you...the tag without either is the best!

Experiment is best when done personally - then you know if a product is right for you.

If only manufacturers made sample sizes for people to try - so you don't have to make a high dollar investment on something you land up not real happy with.
