Trip to Mt.Hood

Ok, my pictures are backwards again, I'm not going to change them around, so here we go...I thought you might want to take a trip with me. Today was sooo beautiful. Once it starts raining it wont let up until spring or summer...so we took advantage of the summerlike day. We ended our day at this park where we had our picnic dinner
In the Lodge was this desk...I think you'd get a workout moving this solid chair everytime you wanted to use the computer.lol
This is the view from up on the mountain. Right in the center is Mt. Jefferson. We're on Mt. Hood
This is just part of the lodge...its so beautiful
This is Mt. Hood...its rather famous...for loosing hikers. I enjoyed having you come along...I'm working on a few more spoon easels...

What a lovely trip, thanks! Did you ever make it to the tile store!?! LOL! Oh, BTW I've only seen Mount Hood from an aerial view so thanks for the up close and personal tour! :)

Hi Laurie -
So you were up on Mt. Hood today! I wonder if you were there when I was looking at it from this side. I have new pictures to share soon, taken from the most gorgeous spot straight through to the mountain - my favorite mountain. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

The first time we visited Oregon from California we drove up Mount Hood. Mind you, this was in August. When we pulled into the parking lot of the lodge you couldn't see the building. We had tea in the bar upstairs by the pictures windows looking out at the peak of Mount Hood. Except we couldn't see it for the fog. August!!!
