A Day in Portland~The Big City

My pictures are all mixed up, so lets just go with it. We went to the Belmont area to go to an Italian restaurant...we didn't know it wasn't open for lunch. So we found another place right down the street. LOVE Mediterranean food. Here is my Spanikopita little under cooked, but fresh. She never came back after she served us...and we couldn't find any napkins. I had to get up and go to the bar area and get bar napkins...BAD service.
These were in their beautiful rustic courtyard...

They sat us under this grape harbor...to many bees, we went inside to eat
This little courtyard was across the street
The morning glories were so beautiful
I just purchased these Tim Holz scissors, I heard they were wonderful...they are reallllly sharp...
how do I know....well, I was holding some lace and snip snip snip and snipped the side of my hand. OUCH But look at this beautiful old fabric I found.

Nice scissors...be careful! I went to the Monticello Antique Mall yesterday, SE Portland. Had a ball with my "bestest" friend!
We will have to go on a field trip sometime.

Stay Cozy, Carrie

Outstanding photography! A good pair of scissors makes all the difference, but be careful.
