Blue Bird on Teacup Pincushion

I just finished this woolie blue bird for Faye. I hope she likes it. I added some velvet vintage trim that matches the roses in the vintage cup. The pincushion is covered in vintage lace with old shell buttons and glittered pins. The blue bird brings out the blue in the flower motif.

Laurie, so nice to hear from you! I went through your older posts and am jealous of how beautiful you paint! I especially love the pastel birds! I would love some for my Easter tree next year! I was just thinking the other day that no matter where I go I never see my favorite bird, the red-wing blackbird! Now I bet if one day i ask, you could do one great justice for me! I am so glad I heard from you! Will keep in touch! Lori

Of all the drinks I've had in my teacup, I think I would be most pleased to find the contents of yours inside! What a most delectable creation. I am so excited to receive my bluebird for Baby Coe's room! Thanks for sharing such a lovely and cozy little world. I look forward to reading more!

All the best --
