Spring Birdie, Hydrangeas

oops, I got two pictures on, I cant figure out how to take one off...oh well, this is a tin a friend gave me. I sponge the background, painted the sweet birdie, then added the hydrangeas.

I'll be putting this on ebay tomorrow...I had to paint SPRING!!! We had snow in our rain again today, enough all ready, bring on Spring!! lol.

Again you have conquered the difficulty of painting flowers, the painstakingly slow hygrangea...love your work, wish I had the time to sit and paint again...my speciality is the birds.
LOVE IT...sharon

Hi
I was visiting Kathy's Cottage and saw your comment so thought I'd come for a visit! Your little bluebird painted on the tine is so precious and I love the plate in the previous blog too.
I will come back to visit again and see what wonderful things you are creating.

Laurie - That little bird and your hydrangeas and just gorgeous. I wish you could paint hydrangeas of all colors all over my yard! Being just a ways north of you I agree about our crazy Spring (?) weather. It's time for sun and flowers - and warm temperatures. ~Adrienne~
