These look a little washed out but the are a pretty pink...ready for a pincushion and embroidery
The sketch below I gave it a wash of color. It isn't watercolor paper so it was hard to get the color to float.

The bird below...is a postcard...I am giving it away...Please sign up on this post.
Another sketch below...on watercolor paper. It too is washed out. It is so much fun!
Here is my question (I enjoyed the flowers that you all like!!) What bird is your favorite??

Hello Little Miss,
Oh this question is ever som easy!! I LOVE to watch the tiny humming birds. They are so amazing and beautiful.Such delicate looking creatures with strong hearts. :)

Missy,
I want to do a round robin. Kinda a treasure hunt searching for clues embedded in each others art journals. Want to play?? I sorta hinted at it on my last posting. Tomorrow I'll try to put my idea into understandable words.

Such adorable little birds you draw!

My favorite bird? Well, NOT the jailbird; I think I like goonies the best...just so much fun to watch! They're also known as 'mollymawks'...that name just cracks me up...so, of course, I'm gonna like them..haha.

What a l♥vely Pink Saturday blog entry. This is the one day of the week when I get to sit for a couple of hours and soak in my favorite color. Thanks for being a part of that day☺

Hmmm, my favorite bird would have to be a Chickadee.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful family weekend. I will be remembering my father who served in WWII, and praying for all of our military who are in harms' way.

I love your paintings! I love it when I see a Blue Jay! I'm from Denver and it was too cold up there to ever see colorful birds! Everytime I see one, I stop in my tracks and do a double take! I -want- to see an honest to goodness bluebird! I would be sooo shocked!

Your paintings are so pretty, just as lovely as can be. I enjoy birds a lot and love listening to them in the mornings. My favorite has always been the hummingbird. We had them around all the time when we lived in the mountains.

Enjoy visiting your blog your creations are lovely. I think my favorite bird (love them all) would have to be the wren, they have a sweet song and they make their nests in the sillist places.

Hello, I just found my way here through TattingChic, isn't she a wonderful person!!! Anyway I wanted to say your artwork is lovely!

So hard to choose just one bird. I think my first choice would have to be Western Bluebird. We have nesting boxes up for them and love to watch them. Next would have to be a Scarlet Tanager, their color is so vivid, bright red, it is a beautiful bird. Next Ruby Throated Hummingbird, oh then I also like the big Pileated Woodpecker (I just had one in my front yard and I have its picture on my blog). Do I have to quit there??? I enjoy watching birds!!

The drawings of your little bluebird are precious!!

Have a great day!!
