Little Tiny Salt and Pepper Shakers

I'm trying to sketch a bit each day. I thought I would share a few pages with you. I'm going to be taking another class from Lisa Kaus next mo. I'm think some of these will work using her style of painting.

How cute are these little shakers. They have glass bottoms and then you unscrew the old silver part...I've been wanting to make some tassels...how cute will these be?
My question for the next giveaway is...do I try to clean them with polish, should I paint them...what do you suggest??

The winner of the Post Card is....Judy from just a little something for you.
The winner of the 3 Tags...is Marilyn from the cutest cottage lamps
Thank you all for playing along!!!

I'll be offering another giveaway tomorrow!!

Helloooo Little Miss,

Oh I'm so green with envy!!! The shakers are way beyond cute!!! They would make awesome tassles. I've been making "time capsals" -talismen with tiny shakers. Soooo cool in collages and jewelry :)

Hmmmm to paint or not to paint??? You do such amazing work but I think my vote this time is not to paint. But then don't polish them up real shiny either. Maybe enough so the engraving is emphasized but they still have their hard earned patina :)

Just my thought anyway.

There you go...sketching like the pro you are! Too cute.

Love the little shakers; but, I don't have clue what you should do to them. They're pretty perfect the way they are...well, maybe just a little polish, eh?

Those little salt and peppers are just darling. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

I had planned to be in your town today, watching my grandsons while my daughter-in-law is out of town and while my son was at work. He called last evening and said his boss told him to take the day off and stay with his boys. While I enjoyed extra, unplanned time with my mom and cousin out and about - flea marketing and garage sale-ing I was sorry to miss my planned stops not far from your home. The Goodwill and a couple of other places were going to be my reward for surviving 3 boys! Soon. Maybe soon! ~Adrienne~
