Highlights of A Farmers Market

I think you have figured out by now how thrilled we are to have moved to so. Calif. There is so much to see and do, fun things, exciting things. And then when we stumble across something so unexpected it is an extra bonus for the day.
At the Santa Barbara Farmers Market, we kept hearing a loud speaker with someone teaching a cooking class. Not very interested as we had things to do...on the way to the car, we had a choice of how to get there, I suggested we walk through where the loud speaker was...and look we
stumble upon...Cat Cora from the Food Network...Stopped and listened to her for awhile, fabulous. That is her son helping her.

Then we came across a pen where they want you to raise chickens...how sweet is this!

A sweet little girl enjoying the music

and if you want to raise ostriches,
start with these sweet babies
Hope you enjoyed our trip with us.

How wonderful. I enjoy watching Cat Cora very much on Foodnetwork. I miss the west coast. I grew up in Seattle, but moved to Indiana in 2000. Enjoy it there!!

Hugs,
Lisa

I hope you picked up a pack of ostriches. Do they come in a herd? A gaggle? a parliament? I don't know what a group of ostriches is called.
