Lovely Little Lambs Alphabe-Thursday

These Little Lambs were just a few hours old

Did you know that the Large Llamas are the protectors of the lambs, this guy did NOT want me taking photos, he was snorting and stomping for me to get away.
Be sure and visit the other Ls at Jenny matlock blogspot
Oh, yes, I almost forgot the most important L...Laurie as in Lauriescharmingdesigns.
Thanks for visiting!!

Lambs are lovely and little. But when they get to be big and sheep, uhm....not so sweet, actually pretty dumb. Probably why Jesus referred to us as sheep!

But lovely little lambs sure are fun to share with lovely little children.

Lovely little lambs and lovely little calves scampering among their friends can be one of the biggest rewards of a rancher.

Can you tell I have experience?

Montana + ranch = livestock

The are adorable! Don't Llamas spit when they get mad? I thought I remembered hearing that one time. I'd stay away if I were you.

I love little lambies and goaties. But not so much llamas. They are bossy and grabby. They try to get all the carrots I want to feed to the lambies and goaties.

This Lovely L post brought back a lot of memories from my childhood.

We would often visit relatives in Iowa and Minnesota with sheep farms.

My favorite job was always giving the lambs their bottles!

And what a funny thing about a llama. I would never have guessed that would happen!

Great L post!

A+

Yes, llamas and donkeys are wonderful "protectors". In Ontario, Canada you see them everywhere in the pastures with the sheep and cows to keep the wolves and coyotes away. The will basically kick the crap out of anything LOL!
