I had such a wonderful time on Sat. Stacey and I ran up to the town of Silverton. My friend Joy from
Antie Joy. was having a sale up at her cute little shop. Here are some goodies that I got while there, some I bought and some she gave me!! Wont these make the best little homes for my birdies!! Then I had to hit the goodwill...I found some wonderful butter dishes and a couple of old enamel plates, an old pincushion and a tracing wheel!!

I love it all Laurie!!! Don't you love it when you find good stuff?? xxoo, Dawn
Those are some great finds! Love the birds in the post below too!! If you haven't been to Orange (Old Towne) before, you will love it during your visit in the Summer. The whole town is filled with antique stores. A lot of the area is changing, but there are still many great places to shop here! :)
Great pictures! Fabulous stuff!
Found you through Kara and Kijsa .....What fun finds on your blog! I love the little blues birds in the post below too.

Those baby shoes! That tarnished silver!!! Those old glass light cap things (which I collect, too, but I can't think of their name - lol!). What a load of treasure! =)

Those finds are so special.. I love
your sweet birds that you make. I love birdies too... Thank you for sharing.
There are some nice finds here! My Dad retired from the phone company and I worked there for awhile, too. The glass transformer protectors (I think this is their name) are an item I used to use for candles. In the 70's and 80's, crafty people used to take strips of wood and make circular seats in the wood for the glass to sit upright. I remember dining in many "healthy" restaurants that used these candles.
Hugs, KJ
Great goodie, can't wait to see which little birds will reside where and how they will feather their nests!
