First Day...San Fransisco and Berkeley

Thought you might get a kick out of this...what color of toilet would you like?? lol
This is CB2
Yummm. I ate the french macaroon before I got a picture of it. Oh dear, is that why I'm sick? lol
I love this display of brown eggs. Yep..$4 for 6...ouch. We drive out into the country here in Oregon and get a dozen brown eggs for $2.00. Below, this is a picture from Berkeley looking over at SF and Ferry Building.

We went to the Ferry Building with all of its fabulous shops, Cheese, Bread, French Macaroons, flowers, mushrooms and truffles. The Farmers Market was outdoors.
Then off to CB2....wonderful store...just like their cataloge, then Bell'occhio
We drove around and got some pictures, even though the day was cloudy.
Next we went across the Bay Bridge to Berkeley...stopping at Urban Ore, Lacis, Tale of the Yak, Ellington and French....then to 4th St. We spent so much time there...delights of discovery...Castle in the Air was a highlight. Dinner in Albany at Mangia Mangia

Ooh, I'm glad you are sharing your trip with us! What the heck are they going to do with all those toilets? If they are 'saving them for a rainy day', they should lift all the lids so there would be water in the bowls, eh?

Thanks for the 'tour'.

Ouch is right, Laurie! Speaking of eggs...Michael's has a bag of mixed colors and sizes of faux eggs in the spring and Easter aisle for $4.99. I passed it up. Dang!

Pattie in Mexico warned me that a wonderful blogger from Oregon that made spoon art was coming to my shop. I'm assuming that would be you?!! I just stumbled on your sweet blog. It is fantastic how prolific you are with your crafting. Very lovely things. Coincidently the craft we are featuring for our Valentine's newsletter is a little heart charm similar to the pink one you made. One of our teachers, Caron, designed a little craft for us. She beaded her red and orange heart charms and attached them to a bracelet - but very similar inspiration. I suppose you are a kindred spirit. Sometimes I wonder if we aren't all sisters!
I'm glad you enjoyed the shop. Next time you are in town please say "Hi" - I'd love to meet you in person.
Best wishes,
Karima

ready for the really funny part of the pots - the pink was called venetian pink and was made by american standard - the blue to left is new orleans blue and was made by kohler. both discontinued for 30+ years

i am amazing on trivia night at the local tuesday night game. LOL

for those who asked - you can buy replacement parts at salvadge for old (high volume flush) toilets. New sales have to be 1.6 or 1.28 gallon flush toilets. these are 5 and 3 gallon models shown here.

usless information unless you sell toilets for a living. (like I do)
