Little Needle Felted Chick

When I was at an Antique Market not to long ago I found these berry baskets...its not the deep ones for strawberries, but more for blue berries or raspberries. They have a none rusty green metal rim. I didn't know what I was going to do with it...but, her it is....are you giggling yet??
Remember those big 'ol beads on a necklace...This is what I did with a few...
I also made a pink oversize felted flower. The little chick was sooo fun to make, it even has rosie cheeks. The "hill" is covered in different colors of green, and a bit of my sparkly fibers. She'll be listed on Ebay. How cute would this be for a baby shower gift!

Tis the season for chicks, hey?

When I'm making mine...I just smile!
I love needle felting them because they look so natural...my bunnies, too! (they're a little difficult to let go of...maybe I'll list some soon...) :)
