It all began with this sweet tree that is tipsy after the storm
Here is the end result, my watercolor journal page
After sketching, I added a mask. When that was dry I put on a background wash then sprinkled with salt
Here it is after the rubber was taken off
I'm really enjoying this Strathmore mixed media book,
it takes light washes well, and the size is perfect for doodling

Oh my gosh! This is the very sweetest (and most beautifully painted) snowman I have seen..love th shadows and love LOVE the sweet snowman. You really need to teach a class..although I don't think I could ever create this sweet painting with such personality :-)
