I wanted to go real old, vintage, shabby. I dyed the wool after I got this put together so I could make the little brown bird the same shade of tan. Look at the beautiful piece of vintage jewlery, its a beautiful pin that I just pinned on, so it could always be taken off and adorn a jacket or sweater. This is found on my Ebay

Hi Laurie,
I finally got caught up with your blog. Neat stuff you've been making. Glad you had the chance to shop at Monticello. Love that pink chair! How come I didn't see it? I'm always there. You got lucky, I'm sure that will make a fab pin cushion.

It's adorable! Love the soft colors. I have a real thing for old silver, I'm drawn to it and the more tarnished the better. Love this piece.

I love this. I have tried several times to buy on ebay and always seem to loose. Contact me if I can just order one. I really love the silver
Such a clever idea...to put the pin onto the cushion. Beautiful combination!
I just LOVE this pincushion. How clever. I have done some in china cups. Never thought about the "Useless" old sugar bowl!!
You have revived it's beauty in a lovely way.

Laurie, this is so cute. I'm going to try and find it on ebay. Do I search under pin cushions? It would look great in my little collection.
