My day didn't go as planned. It started off with my boss emailing me a letter from a friend of a tenants saying she contacted "Fair Housing" because she felt my husband singled out her sons because the were black. They were unauthorized guests and they were in the pool a half an hour after closing...Thats why we asked them to leave...So we had to write a rebuttal saying we weren't being discriminating. That we have tenants of every race living here. This was sooo stressful. A few other job related issues came up...WHY, right when I am going on vacation!! I looked over some paperwork and realized I had missed a deadline for a submission to a magazine, that bummed me out. I had plans to offer a giveaway while I was away, but I just cant do it.
I will look for something special while I'm away and have a really nice giveaway when I return.
I need to go de-stress now. Stacey and I are leaving tomorrow...I'll be back next week. I will probably have withdrawals not having a computer.lol.

Enjoy your Vacation, it is very hard sometimes dealing with the public, it sure gets tough at times for us too being Real Estate Agents. People can just be mean. But there are a whole lot of good people too!

Things are always in an upheaval for me before a trip. I think that is so I enjoy it even more! Hope that you are having a great time.

I'm so glad you got to take a vacation. I have had something similar happen to me and I hate it. It is such an insult to be accused when you are obviously not. I had a coworker once that was coming in hungover, half dressed, and refused to help our customers. His lack of teamwork was what made me go from friendly to professional. Our team won a contest and won a pizza, which I ordered. They got the order wrong and left out the green peppers (we both ordered them on our share of the pizza.) Without talking to me, he went to the store manager with tears in his eyes. He thought that I changed the order and left out his green peppers because I was racist. ??? Are you kidding?!
Anyway, onto better things...I've caught up with all your goodies and have enjoyed all that you've created! :) I think it is fun that you are playing with new mediums and supplies. I am also a BIG lover of mdf! :) It cuts like butta! :)
