Friday Givaway

Rustic...primitive...thats what I'm calling it..I got a new soldering iron and boy is it good. It melts the solder so fast I had trouble.lol so its not as smooth as I would like, I need to practice practice practice, so, if you like this look and would like to have this little charm with my watercolor nest, leave me a message on this post and a winner will be chosen on Monday
I'm putting this little canvas on my ebay. I rubbed it down with metallic paints, crackled the nest, added the buttons.

Oh, I would love to have that little nest! Please add my name--what is sweeter than birds and nests and eggs--particularly pretty little blue eggs?
Have a lovely day!

Count me in. I love birds' nests. I want to know where to get a soldering iron and how to make these charms. I tat and I have some teeny tiny bits o'tatting that I want to make charms for pendants. Where do I get started? The soldering iron? The little glass, etc. Do I need a class somewhere? LOL...I took shop in junior high school and I welded...isn't that a bit more complicated? I think I could solder.

Ms Laurie, I think I prefer things a bit rustic or grungy to perfect. Perfect says 'manufactured' and imperfect says 'human.' Love all your creations and I've been working on a wall hanging that needs a 'nest.'
Hugs,
Liv
