Today is Better

I attached a wire to the top
I am going to list this on Etsy
Amazing the power of words. I was hurt yesterday by someone's words, and today
I was uplifted by words. Thank you for your comments.
I love the words I read here today.
Thank you Sherry

Laurie, Thanks for the nice comments about my ink designs. Yes, got the pics of the white pumpkins made out of fabrics. They're so beautiful! Like I said in my email...can you imagine the fun it would be to hunt for just the perfect combination of fabrics for them - brocades, laces, tapestries....gorgeous!

Laurie - First I want to tell you that the piece listed here is gorgeous :)

Secondly, I am so glad that the post I did yesterday was "timely" for you. I think we all need to work on #2!

Thirdly, it's ironic that I would post that yesterday and at work yesterday evening I was faced with an angry parent that wouldn't let me get a word in edge-wise. I almost took it personally, but thought back on the words of Don Miguel Ruiz! :)

I am so glad you are feeling better today, Laurie. Word can be so hurtful...and yet so healing too! Your newest creation is beautiful!

You are not alone...I had a battle this morning with a vendor at my work who acted like a shark...however, we remember, people that wound people are usually wounded themselves in someway. Sometimes the choice to take the high road is a big climb when some mean person comes along. Be encouraged! My mama always said...there's always one dull pencil in the bunch.

This is beautiful! I absolutely love everything about it! I'm sorry to hear that someone used words as a weapon on you. And I'm glad you were able to find Sherry's post helpful. We allow other's words to wound us so easily.

Oh you must know how I feel about your darling snow-people! They just make me happy to see them..

As far as any comments that may have hurt you - just think the of the person who made them..probably some very unhappy soul that needs to lash out. You don't need to feel anything but pity for these people. Anyone who does that must have a very sad, unfulfilling life..
You, my dear friend, are one who brings sunshine into our lives with your art, your HEART and you generosity !
