Hi Laurie
Thank you for taking the time to visit our blog - when I saw your name I thought it sounded familiar and of course when I clicked on your blog I saw all of those wonderful birds and realised that of course I have admired your work before!
But I see you are also good at painting and I am so jealous of you attending one of Lisa Kaus's classes. I wish she would come to Australia to teach sometime!! I love it to bits.

Hi Laurie, looks like you went to the Smith Rock area? If it was, isn't it beautiful! Sounds like you had a great time wherever you went! Glad to have you back!

Laurie, thank you for posting the pictures. I've only seen that part of the country from the air.

All that sky....! It's wonderful!

So that's Eastern Oregon! It is so different from the Oregon I've been to. Thanks for those pics.

A couple of years ago we drove through Kansas and Oklahoma. While there was much of what I'd expected (dry prairie), there was lots of very different and varied topography too.

Thanks for visiting my blog and giving me a chance to swing over here. I'll be back.
