Fork Easels for Inchie Watercolors

Yesterday my husband and I took a snowie drive out to Stayton to pick up Stacey...We couldn't believe how much ice there was to the trees and how many trees were broken. Check out Stephanies blog, she has some great photos. We took Stacey to her home, we discovered her power had been out for 3 hours. So we hooked her propane heater to get her place warmed up. We headed back home, got into our driveway and she called and said her power was out again. Now, these roads are horrible we are having so much snow and freezing rain, it is layered and layered...so we turned around and went back, picked her up to spend the night with us. We are waking up to soooo much snow this morning.
On to the fun news...I got a few things made yesterday... This little knife easel... Betty, I wired wrapped the hook!! lol

This watercolored bird and heart...lots of glitter...
On to my next story...How many of you have and use a hot water bottle??? Well, they make pretty ones now...This is one that Stacey purchased on line, one side is hotter then the other!...It is so different then the old red ones..We call our hot water bottles "Effie"'s ....This red one is one we have had for a very long time, where it came from, is a very long story, for another time...
My grandmother used one, my mom uses one, I have this red one, and Stacey has her green one. Nice tradition!

Beautiful easel and artwork! I love my old red hot water bottle. I sit with it when it's cold, and I get cold when it is 70 degrees outside! Needless to say, I am freezing right now, this very moment. I feel like I haven't been warm in 2 weeks!

Stay warm and have a Merry Christmas!

I remember those, Laurie! How nice they were to put your feet next to when you were sick!

Love the new fork easels!

Hi - we used to have an old red hot water bottle too.

Oh my gosh how I'm in love with the bird charm on the fork. I'm running right over to Etsy now to buy it if it's still available!!!

Oh - hot water bottles! What a wonderful part of my childhood. They often warmed my feet when I crawled into cold sheets in the winter. There's nothing quite like them.

Aren't we having too much of this weather? We got out and about yesterday, too. It's beautiful but I'm not too fond of walking or driving around in it. We'll have a white Christmas for sure this year. And I think we'll all be glad to see the Oregon rain return.

Your little easels and watercolors and tiny nest are so cute. You just don't run out of ideas, do you? Cute - cute - cute!

I have to agree with Helen...about the memories of the " hot water bottle". Good and bad, huh, girls? The green one is much cuter than the red...for sure.

I love your little Nest Easle. How beautiful...the little pearl eggs! You are so creative! Merry Christmas! ~Cheryl
