Altered Paint Can ~ Kitty

This a paint can I had altered YEARs ago and sent to my friend Aletha. I had forgotten about it.
She had it as a center piece with the most beautiful yellow roses and babies breath.
When I got home and dumped all my things and came back, this is what I found...Does he look guilty or what...
yep, that's him...totally in the bag...I save the story for what is actually in the bag for tomorrow
I use to paint on silk linen also. I dyed the fabric then paintd...adding a touch of hand dyed lace and buttons. I had forgotten how neat these looked...I painted 2 for Aletha, she has on each side of her swag.

The other side of the can. Thank you all for your nice comments on my trip...My friend's DH had a nice conversation about SLR cameras....so I think I see one in our future...Stacey said we will have to have joint custody...do we have to go to court for that?? Lol!

I really enjoyed the pictures of your trip. You have so much talent. Love the heart. I always enjoy the changing look of your blog. I have a kitty that works and works to get inside any plastic bag. I'm so afraid she'll roll up in it. I put them away as fast as I unpack, but sometimes she gets in them before I unpack! Silly kitties.

The can and painted heart are up to your usual wonderful standards! But, of course, my favorite picture is your kitty in the bag...you caught your little friend's expression ("Oops...busted!") perfectly!

Hi Galfriend!!!

I'm glad you kids are home and that you had such a great time!!! I'm really happy you were able to get to Castles :) Her web site it so amazing so her store couldn't help but be. If you have pictures please share. Then I can live vicariously :) I have never been and who knows when I'll be able to go :(

The silk painting is so beautiful!! Maybe there is a way of adding it to your current creations?? Pin cushions ??

Boy have I missed you, come by for a visit, some sun shine and cold limonada!!
