I'm scared. lol

I'm taking the plunge....I'm going to list on Etsy. I've had it forever but I'm scared to put anything on it. lol...I'm so comfy using Ebay...so I'm jumping in...aaaaach!
Here are a couple of chalkboards...Yup...they're going on Etsy...lets say I'm sticking my big toe in.
This one up above is done all with chalkboard paints...except the touch of white...I couldn't decide which way to set it up...long or tall
Then I painted another one of these little coaster plates, and crackled it...now for the part I'm scared of...HOW MUCH??? Does it get any easier???

Hi Laurie -
You will do well on Etsy. I'm sure you will be as busy as you want to be there.

I was in your city on Saturday for two Little League baseball games with our grandsons. Then we went to the RV Show at the ball stadium. Lots of fun. Would you believe I forgot my camera?

No time Saturday for any fun 'girl' places to stop and shop. Maybe next time.

Hi Laurie, You will do well on Etsy! Your work is stunning.

Etsy is quite user friendly. My only "blip" on Etsy was the way they crop their photos (square thumbnails). I am used to it now, but when they cropped the ears off my teddy bear (to make the photo square) I was not to happy, LOL. I had to redo a few pictures and crop them myself. Let me know if you have any questions :).

I left Feebay in May and I am giving Etsy my business for the summer (and hopefully longer).

If you can ebay, you'll love Etsy- I think the secret is to list something new every few days to keep people visiting your shop- and join a group like CSST (Cottage Style Street Team) and add CSST to your listing title, so people can find your pretties.

Laurie,
Will be curious to see how you like Etsy compared to Ebay. Please keep us all "posted"--so to speak! Did some antique and thrift store shopping this past week. Inspired by your use of the silver trays I snagged a couple for my stash.

When do you find time for all your beautiful creations AND TO CHANGE YOUR BANNER SO OFTEN?!! Is it an energy drink? If so, please share the product's name! LOL!

Sunshine on your day,
xoxo

Laurie! Don't you dare scare yourself and think you aren't 'good enough' to do anything! You are so talented and everyone loves to come over here and see what you've created. I haven't been able to visit for a while but i can tell you that I missed your little creations-they always give me a sweet smiley feeling!
Keep that chin up girl!
