Well, this is what it looked like in one area that wasn't socked in with low clouds
We drove a little further...the weather wasn't getting any better. I don't know if you notice, I'll point it out to you just in case...our coast is NOT known for surfing. But there was suppose to be a whale or two out there. Those of you that know or coast...Depot Bay (worlds smallest port)
This is what it looked like when we got up this morning. But this sweet thing was near by.
I'm trying out Picasa to see how the photos transfer. I did take these on high resolutions and they did transfer quickly...So that is a good thing. Not sure whats going on with her eyes. lol.

Laurie, They're beautiful photos!
There's something about fog that makes things look so much more dramatic and moody!
I remember being out on a lake in Maine in the fog and how beautiful and SILENT it was. It had a beauty of its own that was almost prettier than on a sunny day - mysterious!

Very dramatic photos. They ar beautiful.
Hi Laurie -
I was sure you were in Depoe Bay before you told us. I recognized the sea wall and the configuration of land and sea. I'm sorry the weather didn't cooperate with you but I love our Oregon Coast no matter what the weather. We almost always go in January when the weather is exactly like this because it's our anniversary month. Plus, we lived in two places on the Oregon Coast over several years. So I guess that's why I like it rain, fog or shine! Your photos are gorgeous. I need to try Picasa, too, I guess. I hear good things about it.

Amazing photos, even though it is a bummer when you have to be out in that weather!
I'm updating my blogroll on my new blog and noticed you have my old blog address in your list. If you wouldn't mind updating it, here is the correct address:
